IE5 Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga – Yokohama Tire Philippines, Inc. (YTPI), will conduct another tree planting event
on November 8, 2014 starting at 6:00 am within its plant facility at West Plant area. Now on its 7th year of annual
implementation, the activity was dubbed Forever Forest 7.

More than 3 thousand seedlings mostly grown from the company’s greenhouse are prepared to be planted in an area of
1,300 square meters . These seedlings are an addition to the existing 30,427 trees planted from Forever Forest 1 to
                    Forever Forest 6.

Participants from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), local government units, the local media,
and stakeholders like Clark Development Corporation (CDC) and some Clark locators are invited to attend the company’s
                    annual event.

For this year, YTPI aims to engage more participation of the youth from different schools to increase the level of awareness
in environmental protection efforts. We have invited school-children and their parents from local high schools. Other
participants will also include YTPI’s scholars, representatives from the Yokohama Tire Sales Phils., Inc. (YTSPI), local
Yokohama tire dealers, and YTPI employees.

This event, in line with the Grand Design 100, The Yokohama Rubber Corporation’s management plan towards its 100th
anniversary, will bring thousands of new trees to the existing indigenous forest at YTPI grounds. The same advocacy is
being spearheaded annually by all Yokohama subsidiaries in Asia and America.
